Sine rule
Use opposite pairs and test the geometry
- Relation a/sin A=b/sin B=c/sin C.
- Angle sum Use A+B+C=180° before choosing a missing pair
- SSA Check both inverse-sine candidates and reject invalid triangles
- Spatial use Identify one planar triangle and its actual internal angles
Worked example
On a triangular face, A=30°, B=45° and a=6 cm. Find b exactly
- \(\displaystyle b=6\frac{\sqrt2/2}{1/2}=6\sqrt2\)The face orientation in space does not change its internal triangle geometry
